Hey guys Will Clark here - my friend is posting this for me! As you all may know, each year I produce a fundraiser here in LA called the Bad Boys Pool Party. It's a meet and greet where you the fans of gay male porn get to meet your favorite stars as a fundraier for AID FOR AIDS (http://www.aidforaids.net). We've had a great four years in LA and last year expanded to Palm Springs.

 

This year I am again producing two parties - one in Palm Springs on Saturday April 27th and another one, the fifth anniversary party, here in LA tentatively scheduled for Saturday August 10th. I hope that if you've heard about the party, you'll make 2002 the year that you'll visit us and enjoy the fun!

 

But first, for the first time I'm opening up ONE headliner slot to popular vote by you, the fans. While I will do my best to accommodate "popular vote", there are some guidelines for who can be a featured star of the BBPP - think of it this way - when you were in high school, only juniors and seniors got to compete for the title of prom king.

 

Now this is probably a goofy analogy but generally porn stars who start out in the biz get all the attention but it's the guys who have been around for awhile that have proved their status as true "porn stars" and not just "porn actors" or "porn models". So when you're thinking of guys, models who have made a couple of vids or been around for only a year have not really paid their dues and although there are some HOT men that fit in this category, I'd like to try to keep it to guys who have been around awhile.

 

The only other guideline is that in order to keep the event as profitable as possible, I can only really fly in one model (unless someone out there would like to sponsor a star to come to Palm Springs from across the country)....

and definitely no one from outside North America.

 

Finally - most guys that are out of the industry are not stars that I can readily find.. (ie. if you haven't seen them in a new video in three or four years, they are long gone out of the business) but if there's an overwhelming

call for someone who is retired, I can at least do some detective work and try to find them. Mostly tho once guys leave the business they do not want to be contacted for any reason (sigh.. the ongoing social stigma of having done

porn)
