D. Forest's "Meet the Men" program?

Has anyone tried David Forest's "Meet the Men" program in which, for a fee, he provides introductions to porn stars? Yeah it sounds expensive, but someone must have tried it. How did it turn out. I just might be worth it to meet Ken Ryker.

I should point out, though, that you're paying for an *introduction*. Depending on your location, that may be just a phone number or e-mail address. Any meeting you arrange once you're introduced (and the price for that meeting) is between you and the "star" and is not part of the introduction fee.

 

If you just want to MEET Ken Ryker (yeah, right), watch for a porn event where he's appearing and introduce yourself. (That's what I did.) Personally I think a weekend trip to WeHo would probably be more cost-effective than $400 for an e-mail address.

 

Also, David Forest was (last time I looked) seeking "sponsors" for his tables at the upcoming awards shows. You'd get to spend the evening getting to know his whole stable of guys.

Another opportunity to hobnob with the pornstars is the Falcon 30th Anniversary bash. It's an industry-only party, but Falcon has given Will Clark permission to hold a silent auction for one fan to attend. All funds from the auction go to LA-based Aid for AIDS. The catch is you'll be going as Will's date. ;-)

Oh, and I forgot. If you can't make it to WeHo for the GayVN's, another event where you can mix & meet the stars is Will Clark's Bad Boys Pool Party (http://www.badboyspoolparty.com).

 

And, of course, if the left coast isn't your style there's always Memorial Day weekend in Chicago which is host to the International Mr. Leather festivities and Gay Chicago Magazine's Grabby Awards (http://www.grabbys.com) all in one weekend. Lots of events designed for meeting & greeting your favorite stars.

 

There are a TON of these events around the country.

I have never used Forest's services. But, I did hire Billy Brandt and it was a big help to get introducted to him by someone whom he trusted. I never saw the "attitude" that people associate with Billy;

things may have been very different if I had just walked up to him at a public function where he was being BILLY, and not just himself.

Hired Billy B. through the service. Everything went very smoothly. It was worth it to avoid unnecessary hassles, etc.

Thanks for the links deej. I'm going to try to attend the WeHo event since I'm currently on the "left coast" these days.

 

I also checked out David's site, it seems as if he has expanded the content. Might be worth joining. Do any of you guys currently belong? Are you getting the bang for your bucks?
