I am trying to decide between Sydney or a cruise.

About 7 years ago, I took an all gay cruise of Alaska when RSVP owned a small ship. Because of the expense, there weren't a lot of men in their twenties. However, above thirty, the age was fairly mixed. I have friends who have gone to Atlantis, beach events in Mexico and they indicated that the age was very mixed and that they had a great time. I suspect the expense of the tour or event and the level of physical activity will strongly dictate the age mix of the men.

A few years ago, I joined fifteen men on one of Sam's tours to Thailand. The median age was 35 to 69, I think. I had a wonderful time, for if I wanted to venture on my own I could. Because of the language barrier and my being unable to read or speak Thai, a very difficult language to learn as an adult, I principally stayed with the group and its activities. Our tour guide and host Sam made sure that we bonded, and he provided us with the freedom to do and to go as we deemed necessary.

 

I do plan to go on another gay trip; I do not know when or where.

Have you ever been to Sydney? It's a great city. (My best friend went to Sydney as a 52 year-old man to see if he could still catch. Well, he was still desired in spite on his wonderful age. And it happened during Mardi Gras in Sydney...)

I am currently working on putting together a cruise which will be populated by a few popular escorts. They will be on board for mixing, mingling and entertainment only. Anything you arrange with them is between you and them.

This is a swell concept. In November I was with an escort/porn actor in SF; he stated that he and his partner (also an escort) were going to do a gay cruise with other escorts, etc. I find this to be a titillating venture. "GO for it!"

 

As to where? I am at a loss. Perhaps you could list four or five places and receive votes for the most popular one. Also, perhaps you could solicit ideas from "us" as to what escorts we would like to have on board! ;-)

HooBoy, What a great idea! Since I'm currently based on the west coast it would be best to depart from Southern California (for me). On a serious note the duration would be a factor for me. I do not feel anything longer than 5 days will work with my schedule.

Not sure what you meant by time frame so here goes:

*I would think ATLEAST a 6 month notice from the time posted until cruise departs.

*DON'T travel during Hurricane season EVER I DON'T care if the price is cheaper!

*The cruise should be a minimum of 4 days.

PS.. I've been on 6 cruises so I can probably answer some of you guys questions IF you have any post here or Private Mail me. :-)

I totally would take an all gay tour again. I went with Out West Adventures to Costa Rica, and had a blast. The crowd ranged in ages from 23 to 65, though the average age was mid 30's. Very well organized, only about 24 guys and one female (the mother of the 23 year old....awwwwwhhhh, )

Yeah, the crusise is a phenomenal idea!!!! I've been on cruises a lot, and September seems to be a great month to go in my previous experiences.

 

Keep in mind there is a big gay event happening end of october and into November (the gay games) Some of us will probably be traveling to that (either to spectate) or to compete.

Where do I sign up. This is a great idea Hooboy. I think it will be very succesful and will become a regular yearly or twice yearly thing. I agree that you should give plenty of notice and vary the type of escorts please. I know you love twinks but some of us love MANLY MEN, but a mix would be ideal. No less than five days duration and exotic, sexy ports of call please.

I'm not a great lover of cruises, but I recommend that everyone should do an Alaska, summer cruise. However, perhaps a more popular, accessible cruise might be one of the many that run from Los Angeles (or Long Beach or San Diego) down along the Baja coast of Mexico. These mini-cruises seem to be very popular within the straight and gay tourist industry.

As a follow-up, I should say that I've never done one of these mini-cruises (although I have wanted to do so). I believe that there are already a number of such cruises that cater to the gay community. Perhaps escorts and their clients could fit into one of these existant cruises. In that way, participants could network before the start of the cruise and all could have a good time regardless (and independent) of the number of escort/clients who choose to attend.

They have a yearly gay cruise. It looks HOT! The dress code is swim wear all of the time.

I can only guess at my dream list of guys to cum along.
