Welcome aboard! Sometimes we have to put ourselves in their shoes and feel their feelings. Things do come up unexpected for us and our clients. We all deal w/ cancellations and I myself have had some no confirms thinking they were confirmed. You might want to try what I started and that was trying to communicate better with your clients via phone or more emails. I see guys all the time that say,"I almost cancelled on you because I was so nervous, but that phone call you made changed my mind." Now that makes me feel good and my client understands that I do care. I would only reserve the word scumbag for guys that would try to hurt me or abuse their boundaries.

I must say you can learn alot from some the escorts that have been around. I myself still have a lot of learning to do but thanks to them, I have changed a great deal.

I like to get a client's phone # so we can talk. And, if they are coming to my place, I'll ask them to give me a call an hour prior to our appt. to confirm/and get directions to my place. If I am going to their place, I'll make sure I give them a call an hour prior to confirm and to get directions to their place.

 

I drove all the way to Pittsburgh(3hrs.+)and got to the hotel where I was to meet a new client. He had cancelled his reservation and left a

As unfair as that is, it happens to all escorts at one time or another. But some of the other follow-up threads here provide some sound advice with which I agree.

 

1. Retain reliable contact information from the client. Clients are entitled to privacy, but the ones that are completely evasive and vague about who they are and what they want should be more heavily scrutinized.

 

2. A phone interview helps clients to become familiar with you as a person, and it may put them at ease. Additionally, because of that familiarity, it might be harder for them to stiff you rather than some anonymous escort with whom they've never talked.

 

3. Reinforce all appointments with last-minute verifications. Some escorts require a confirmation phone call a few hours before the session. E-mails are great ways to open a line of discussion with a client, but not the best way to personalize the encounter.

 

4. Lastly, remember that if it does happen, try not to take it personally. It may not be fair to you, but sometimes things happen in people's lives they cannot foresee (i.e., a guy's wife who was supposed to be away for the weekend decides to come home early).

 

 

Aside from that, there is no tribunal (except my FAIR court), that will allow you to prosecute these wayward criminals who have thoughtlessly discounted your time.

There was exactly one instance where I failed to arrive

for an escort session on time. It was for an incall.

The escort lived in a dicey neighborhood, and muggers

came after me just down the block from the building the
