Guys -

 

A couple of days ago I created the "Why so bitter?" thread, perhaps most aptly characterized by BofN as "melodramatic."

 

But I was concerned by what seemed like a downward spiral in the way communications were or were not happening here. So I laid out my concerns.

 

You didn't flame me and you did take me seriously. The resulting discussion has been great and I think there's a chance that some of us may understand a bit more where others are coming from. And if we don't understand better why we all come here, perhaps we do understand better that there are at least as many different motivations as there are people among us.

 

So thanks for taking me seriously and thanks for addressing my concerns. I'll try to be a little less melodramatic. :-)

Well, I think it shows that the state of this board is not as dire as you indicated in your post. You brought up some heartfelt points and presented them in such a way that we could respond to them in an intelligent manner. Of course, it also resulted in a nomination for best supporting actor in a melodrama. Hmmm..maybe there was an ulterior motive!!
