General Tech Question For Daddy And Others

Is there a message center out there for sharing tech info and asking tech questions about computers, programs, cool downloads, etc? I know there is a lot on the Internet and I find it a bit overwhelming. If there are one or two message center type sites where everything is discussed from A-Z then I would truly appreciate the link(s).

Try asking your question in Google Groups; they archive the ListServe threads and there are hundreds of specific groups for computer questions.

As DelawareGuy said, Google is the place to start with pretty much any question.

 

I laugh when Microsoft announces competing search technology because the best way to find ANYTHING at microsoft.com is .... GOOGLE. LOL

 

I don't know of any "general" goto place because the web tends to be made of hundreds of thousands of specialist sites. But Google will help you find whatever specialty you need.

 

The Google toolbar puts them at your fingertips and has the added benefit of blocking most popups.
