Yellow Boxes

Those little yellow boxes in front of the post's subject line are really handy to zero in on unread posts - when they work!

 

But I find that very often ALL the boxes stay yellow regardless of how many times you have read a post. Strange............

Are you using the Mark messages feature? After you finish with a forum, you click the "Mark" link and next time you return, only the new messages will show the icon.

HUH??????? OK, I give up - where to I find this "Mark" feature?

 

And - as I have not been using it (as I never knew it existed and now that I do, I can't find it) howcome on some posts it works and on others it doesn't? Are those cyber fairies spoofin with me again?

The first line (the one with Icons) between "Poll" and "User menu". If your at top level (i.e. "Main Conference" it marks all forums as being read.

 

If your in one of the forums (i.e. "The Lounge") it'll just mark that forum as being read.
