Ratings and Message Counters are shrinking

Relatively recently -- perhaps before the software upgrade -- I was listed as having more than 1,100 posts. Now I'm listed as having 682 or something like that.

 

Tonight I just noticed that I'm listed as having 16 ratings and 20 points. Yesterday I had 35 ratings and 38 points.

 

Is someone trying to tell me something?

 

More seriously, if my counts are now incorrect, they're likely to be incorrect for lots of people. Any idea on what's going on? And, if they're inaccurate, it leads to the natural question of whether they should just be turned off...

I fixed the database tables that had been imported twice, the current totals are much closer to reality that what they were.
