I am not suggesting anyone buy this 500 page collection of gossip and

quotes mostly taken from this site. I spend 2 hours at the local gay book store paging through this paperback, which comes out every year (although someone else will have to carry on the tradition since the editor, John Patrick, apparently died severals months ago). Patrick names Billy Brandt as the Gay Porn Star of the Year and then uses over a page of my quotes about Brandt. Many of the regulars on this site are also quoted. To be fair, Patrick did contact me with the Brandt text to get my approval, which I gave very, very relucatantly. I understand that these Patrick collections are big sellers each year. There is not much original research here, Did Patrick contact anyone else for permission to use their quotes? Frankly. I think some of the profits from the book should go to HooBoy since the site is so liberally quoted in the book.
