It's not a big issue but I'm curious.

The post counter is broken. It has been reported many times.

When you write to HooBoy and grovel sufficiently.

 

Or when you're a regular enough poster of unquestionable content such that the moderators get tired of releasing your posts from the queue and whine at HooBoy.

The goal of moderation is to release the majority from it while keeping tabs on those very few loose wires out there.
