I am soon leaving to spend several months in Indonesia. Mostly around Surabaya, but undoubtedly with some time in Jakarta.

 

I realize I am heading to a relatively unenlightened society with respect to being openly gay. However, there's gotta be others like me over there. Anybody have any experiences to share as far as hooking up ... for free, for hire, or for that in-between stage of a "kept" boyfriend? Ex-pat or native hookups both.

 

Will probably end up spending short times in Singapore and Malaysia too, so suggestions for there too would be appreciated.
