Rio, Monday night, Meio Mundo, no towel nights!

 

More info on the meio mundo no towel nights. Last night i found time to sit and talked to catow, sounds like cat ow. No towel nights right now are Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday the boys have a very small towel to sit on, and to cover either their fronts, or butts, but not enough to cover both. Some of the more enterprising boys, tie a string so it will go around the waist, some just say fuck it, and walk around butt naked with the small towel in their hands.

 

the bar/dance floor is great fun, the boys just hang out, and at normal, walking around naked, drinking naked, and dancing naked. But when they do a strip show, they keep it all covered, which I found odd, where off stage they let it out, but on stage they keep it covered with their hands.... Interesting.

 

So if you go, plan to have a wonderful time, I did, and will go back.

 

There is one boy, around age 26, name is catow, and speaks some English, he is the only one, but is very helpful, and handy to get to know.

 

he says the boys don't really mind no towel night, but they love the nights they get the full size towel....btw on no towel nights, the boys pay a 5r locker fee. on towel nights, it is the same 5r locker fee, but they also have to pay a 5r room charge each time they go to a cabin with client. the client always pays the cabin fee, but on towel nights the boys also have to pay 5r each trip. BUT on towel night, the client only pays for the cabin fee 1st time, the 2nd time it is free. you have to love the math, interesting.

 

btw, if you want a sheet for the bed, that is extra, you have to love it.....

 

last night their was another drag shows, with 5 ladies, and 1 stripper show with 5 of the no towel boys in swim trunks, (they dance one song with trunks, and then one without, but keeping their fronts covered with the trunks)

 

i had a great time, will go back again soon!

FloridaRob, the guy to which you alluded was last seen at Club117 in 2006. In knowing him (only slightly) I think he would NOT be at Meio Mundo. When the beforementioned guy saw a friend of mine in 2006, he constantly talked about his past experiences as being a supposed boyfriend of CK.

 

When I saw him (only in the bar area-- no action)-- he and I briefly talked. He was surprised that I knew of him, but I told him I'd seen his pics at an escort site on http://www.netgay.com.br. We conversed and that is all.

 

 

Thanks to "Tealady" for the update. You were fortunate to have met someone who could speak Ingles. That's rare as you are perhaps aware. But remember rarely do the guys stay around long enough in one place for others (tourists) to meet them once they have landed in Rio! Again, keep posting, por favor!

I was down there a couple of months ago and CK sent him back...not according to him but from other friends said.

 

 

I've known him for years from 117 but wow, his english is great right now.

 

I have known the owner from meio mundo also, he used to live in Miami...Acir

Florida Rob is right! CK's Ex, who is cute and been in several videos, has been working at Meo Mundo for the past year. I have seen him there on my last several trips there. He speaks very good English and does not work at any of the other saunas except MM, he told me why but I don't remember his reason.

THANKS :-) FloridaRob! I owe you my deepest apologies, and I truly and sincerely appreciate the manner in which you responded. I thank you for writing initially, too, because far too many of the posters and visitors to Brasil have left this site and forum, and I miss them and their correspondence.

I stay in touch with quite a few of the missing posters...and I finally saw Gullivers house on the last trip...it came out amazing.

 

With the week dollar I almost went broke in Europe,,,couldnt believe the prices...and Brasil isnt cheap these days either when you factor in the airfares, hotel rates with the weak dollar, entrance into sauna, drinks, etc..., cabine and what you give the sauna boy... there are quite a few brasillians in boston that will do a "private" and they are pretty hot but I am in Texas..so i will have to settle for mexicans and central americans...thank goodness they like white guys alot!
