A 'Heads Up' for those of us of a certain persuasion, who may be regular Home Depot customers. Over the last month I became a victim of a clever scam while out shopping. Simply going out to get supplies has turned out to be quite traumatic. Don't be naive enough to think it couldn't happen to you or your friends. Here's how the scam works.

Two unbelievably good-looking bois come over to your car as you are packing your shopping into the trunk. They both start wiping your windshield with a rag and Windex, with their bodies stretching over the windshield at angles i can no longer reach. It is impossible not to look. When you thank them and offer them a tip, they say 'No' and instead ask you for a ride to another Home Depot or Lowes.

You agree and they get in the back seat. On the way, they start undressing. Then one of them climbs over into the front seat and starts crawling all over you, while the other one steals your wallet. I had my wallet stolen November 4th, 9th, 10th, twice on the 15th, 17th, 20th & 24th. Also December 1st, 4th, twice on the 6th, three times just yesterday, and very likely this coming weekend. And yes, Rio does have a Home Depot.

So tell your friends to be careful

You had your wallet stolen over and over and over again? You can't be serious. I think I'm appreciative of the head's up about your experience. Good manners prevent me from saying anything more.

I think you've missed the humor of the original post.

Oh where is this home depot? (I'm sure it wasn't the one on 23rd street in Manhattan.)

I can't wait to have my wallet stolen! I thought this was hilarious.

Sydney--If the internet police have found that i have violated some internet code, please write me a citation, roll it up, and stick it up your ass. I'll post where I want, as often as I want. If you don't like my posts, don't read them. Have a nice day.

Really, why can't he post it here? Maybe some of us didn't see it in the other website you mention.

Very funny, Gringo. I almost fell for it too!

Hi Gringo (L----ro),

This, your latest post, is funnier than your initial post about Home Depot. Keep the posts coming.

Imrthr and Lucky,

Glad you got a smile from my post. It's Saturday afternoon in Rio, I've just refreshed my wallet and am headed to pickup a few things at the Home Depot. :-)
