I'd like to do my part to aid, financially, the relief efforts in Asia.

 

What I propose is to auction of my services... one FREE overnight session, to the highest bidder...

 

What do you get? The good karma that comes from helping out your fellow man, and a great night of fun n frolic with a sexy Canadian guy.

 

"But how do I know that the money I donate is going to help the people who need it, and not into Matt's greedy little hands?" some might ask.

When the auction is closed, the person who has the highest bid will go to a red cross web site of their choosing(American, Canadian or International... web addresses follow) make a 100% tax deductible donation for the agreed amount, and forward a copy of the receipt to me... as proof that the money has been deposited... and we work out the specifics of when and where we are to meet.

 

The details... aka fine print... depending on where the highest bidder chooses to meet for our session, all travel must be provided... as part of the deal.

 

Currently the death toll is estimated at over 155,000... to give some perspective on just how many people that is... the average attendance at a Yankees home game last year was 42,000... triple that, and you still don't equal the amount that have died.

We can't do anything to help the dead, but we can help to rebuild, supply food, medical equipment, and other forms of humanitarian aid.

sad, but to be expected

 

I suspected that I would get some negative response to this.. for some reason, some people just can't believe that an escort, or anyone for that matter, can want to do something charitable, without benefit to themselves.

I figured this could be avoided by making the client do the donation... that way there is no way I could be accused of pocketing it.. but I didn't figure on anyone questioning my motives...

I have already made my donations to the charities of my choosing... But one man can afford only so much... so I'm volunteering my service to help out more.

Accussing me of garnering attention through the suffering of others... wow... anyone who has ever met me can vouch for my sincerity... I'm just sorry that your perception of other people is so negative.. it must be a sad place to be.

Matt, what you have come up with is really great......There are famous people that are appearing over the country also to raise money, and they will sign a picture for anyone who makes a donation. Matt, believe me, if I had the money I would bid on you. I would rather spend and unforgettable time with you, then getting a signed picture of a film star...But the point is that no matter what one does, it still will raise money for a good course...and that's more then what other people are doing ;-)
