I have an uncircumcised penis and it is very sensitive. I don't enjoy oral sex because it is just too sensitive (It is o.k. sometime if deep throated.)

I read a lot about this and I have tried leaving the foreskin retracted to desensitize it but it is difficult and sometimes uncomfortable to do this (those darn pubic hairs get caught-so I shave) or it just won't stay retracted.

Would appreciate any suggestions.

Hi Roninx,

I understand you are the newest member registered here. I just wanted to welcome you, have fun, and stay around.

About your question, I'm afraid I can't help you, but I think any good urologist can. Have you considered seeing one? Good luck!

roninx: How old are you? If you are very young, I would suggest playing with yourslef more often -- several times a day if you can.

It won't really desinsitize you, but you'll just get used to the feelings. If you're very young, your penis may still be in the ticklish stage and perhaps hasn't graduated to the sensual sexy stage. So, it could just be a matter of time.

If you're in your 30's, I'd see a dick doc. He might be able to give you a drug that will desensitize Mr. Happy.

I wish you well and if i can help, let me know. I love foreskin. I'll be gentle. :-)

Tell it to get a backbone.

Sorry ron (and BG). Couldn't resist. I'd follow Hooboy's suggestions.

Have you tried simply wearing a condom? You could get one of those flavored ones. It should do a good job of densensitizing. And, as others have mentioned, there are medications if all else fails.

Leaving the head exposed by retracting the foreskin is a good way to desensitise but the process could take years. The foreskin will slide back but if you leave it retracted every after you urinate, progress will be made.

There are some over the counter sex products that temporarily numb the tissue. I don't know the names but would guess something like "StayHard" or "Prolong". These are designed to help premature ejaculators and will help with your problem. You should also give clear direction to your sex partner. If he (or she?) is licking the head like a lollipop make it known that doesn't work for you and show them a better way to do it. Insert yourself deeper into their mouth and you can avoid the tongue tickling.

Good Luck and happy cocksucking! :)

I assume the head is less sensitive after you are erect. Right? I suggest you or your partner bring you to erection prior to getting oral. Or wear a condum until you are erect. Most drug stores sell lotions to prevent premature ejaculation and probably work by making the penis less sensitive. I suggest you look at these.

Thanks for all the help. Just some clarification. I'm in my early 30s. The sensitivity is when my penis is retracted, mainly the tip, around the corona and backside (where the foreskin joins the penis).

It really isn't just oral sex. If one uses your hand (while the skin is retracted) same sensitivity. Without the skin retracted, I am fine.

During sex, I'm fine but I do cum faster than I'd like. I will take your advice and see a urologist.

thanks again.

This is a GREAT FORUM! :9
