Three more days 'til Rio

I'll be leaving for Rio in three days and will be there from Feb. 24th til March 6th. I can barely contain myself. I visited in October for the first time and fell in love with this beautiful city and her people. I stayed at the Olinda Othon, located on Atlantica and Hilario Gouveia, and will be staying there again. Great little hotel, very safe, clean, comfortable, reasonably priced, and , most importantly, close to Estasao, Roger's, and now Point 202. I can't wait to check out Point 202, after hearing about it from you guys. Sounds like the guys are very hot. And hopefully I will also be able to participate in Carnaval festivities and perhaps join a samba school in their performance. I contacted MikeTur and will be calling him when I get to the city. I'm also hoping to join the Apollus Escorts Carnaval Cruise. That sounds like a real blast. Alexander emailed me with info and I'm planning to call him the minute I get to the hotel to book it. I'm hoping that Junior, an Apollus escort from Sao Paulo, will be participating, too. Never got the chance to hook up with him on my last trip. There are so many guys I want to see again; Juan Carlos from Roger's, Luis Carlos from Spa 73, Cristiano, Claudio, and Andre from Sauna 117, to name a few. I will be posting a few times during my stay to keep you all abreast of what's new and happening. I know that this trip will be alot different from my October trip, considering that this one is during the peak season. And one consideration I have is the safety issue. I had NO problems last fall but I do realize that the city will be teeming with tourists and, along with them, the criminal element. All one can do is try to be aware and be street smart. I do want to enjoy myself, too, and not become paranoid. I want to thank the site members who have posted suggestions regarding safety.
