THE PRAGUE POST has a news flash re: prostitution in the Czech Republic. The government is working on a new law to be in place by next year. All sex workers must file with the government as self employed. They must pay income tax and submit to regular blood tests. Licences for working escorts,prostitutes male and female will require an annual fee. All people in the sex trade must be over 18 years old. Sex for sale in clubs, houses of prostitution or on the street, will be limited to one section of the city. The Czech Police claim the sex trade is now out of control. Prostitution is not a crime in this country. However, the police say it is high time for some sort of code.
