I am planning on going to Morocco for a week. Any suggestions for guides / escorts would be greatly appreciated? Also, if folks have any words of advice. A bit nervous given thats its an arabic country -- they tend to have harsh views.

As in most arab Countries, you will not find anything organized and settled in terms of gay life and gay escorting.

I have been to Morocco four times. There is no such thing as out and out gay life or bars. The Arabs mostly forbid homosexual activity, but practice it every chance they get. The best cities I have found are Tangier and Marrakech. The Bath House is a hot bed of activity. Boys 15 and up looking to fuck some white European or American men. In Tangier they speak Arabic, Spanish and English. Marrakech mostly French and Arabic. Rumor has it, that the present King of Morocco is a gay man. Gays claim he has been seen in gay bars in Amsterdam and Brussels during his college days. You can walk down the street or Souk, (market) wink at some cute guy and they know what you want. One bit of advice, only stay in a first class hotel, anything else is a rat trap full of bed bugs, etc. I have never known Moroccans to be anti American. They are friendly and are very hip to the gay scene. Many English queens all over the place looking for sex.When you bring a guest to a hotel, they ask for his ID card at the desk. He only gets it back, when you return to the desk with him.

Okay, time to put in my own two dirham in - I basically agree with most of what the other respondents have said, although I would definitely urge you to be very careful when looking for a cute Moroccan boy to take home to your hotel with you.

 

I admit that I have never been to Morocco myself, but being (partly) of Moroccan extraction and having cousins visit every year, I have found that at least the segment of the population I have had exposure to (guys in their 20s and 30s from mostly urban areas), they are anything but "hip to the gay scene". Obviously, gay guys themselves will be hip to it, but you'll be dealing mostly with straight guys on a daily basis, so definitely turn on your street and bedroom smarts.

 

If you have trouble finding a mate or would like to be 100% sure to have a hot Arab boy keeping you warm at night, I'd suggest looking into bringing your own with you. You'll be able to find plenty of hot'n'horny Moroccan boys in France, Italy, or Spain. I'm sure they're advertising somewhere.

 

Definitely let us know how it goes - I'm planning to go there myself this year to reclaim my heritage and get a tanline.
