Does anyone remember Loi, who used to work at the Earls Court Clinique in London until about six years ago? A beautiful Thai guy, he was the best 'escort' I ever experienced - lithe, handsome and up for anything he was also friendly and loving. I would be glad to hear from anyone else who admired him as much as I did - and whether anyone has news of him since he 'retired'.

BareBoy, like you I thoroughly enjoyed my visits with Loi. I would go as far as to say I was in love with him. I saw him over many years, sometimes outside the Clinique, and used to book him well in advance of my visit to make sure he would be free for me. Although I knew he was one of the most popular guys and had multiple clients every day he never failed to deliver the goods. He also had the knack of making me feel I was 'the one and only'. I often made my visit the last of the day as Peter would leave Loi to lock up which meant I had more than the standard hour. I still think of him and miss him but as I was then very far back in the closet, didn't get a phone number or address from him and therefore have had no contact with him since he retired. From what I gather from my conversations with Peter before he closed the Clinique, Loi qualified as a chef and took up employment and moved in with a lover. I have no knowledge of his present whereabouts, but like you would like to meet him again (even for a nonsexual encounter). I am envious of his lover.

Absolutely right: I was never lucky enough to see him outside the Clinique, but he was such a love - even gave my Christmas Cards 'from your friend . . .' Yes, he did qualify as a chef - showed me photographs of the enormous cake he baked as one of his tests! I'm not sure his relationship with Peter was very good. I did hear he was working at an hotel near Heath Row, but have never tried to follow it up. I certainly hope he found a lover and is happy - he always said that none of the guys he worked with knew he was gay, let alone what he did to augment his income!
