I am going to this great city soon for my first visit. I think I have the lay of the land in terms of bars, saunas, agencies, etc. but I am looking for a good, clean, roomy hotel in the right area. It need not be too inexpensive but not the Ritz either. Does anyone have any suggestions? I would greatly appreciate this information. A pool and sundeck would be wonderful to be included. Thanks Gentlemen.

No pool, no sundeck, but great rooms in a quiet area at bargain prices... I always stay at Hotel Sant'Angelo Barcelona

Ask about their rates for the suites on the 5th floor, they have whirlpools for three and all the privacy you need.
