411 on Traveler Zack--Currently in Dallas

This guy is currently in Dallas. He was advertising on Craig's List I don't ever remember seeing an ad on Rentboy, M4RN. or a review on here. You'd think there would be lots of talk considering he says he is from the DC/Baltimore region and the common refrain is about the dearth of quality there.

 

Before he'll talk with you--you have to go through some sort of verification process with a company called FEV--his e-mail says that it is a free service--but I'm leery.

 

It just all sounds a little fishy--a great looking guy--that I don't think I've ever seen before--maybe I'm wrong and he has had ads or reviews--who then requires some type of verification service.

 

Any info out there--inquiring minds want to know.

He was recently posting here on the Raleigh-Durham craigslist. I did some research and found that he already had a bad review from DC. And, there were follow-up postings on the local craigslist indicating that this is a scam -- stolen credit card numbers and unauthorized charges were alleged.

I appreciate all the info from the prior 2 threads. The major info aside from barebacking is that we all seem to be leery of signing up for the FEV verification--also that he has posted in several cities at the same time--although there is the one comment that he had a bad review in DC--wish I could read it. He actually gave me a hotel name and location without a room number, but of course that could be easily obtained whether he was here in the Big D or not.

 

I think I will pass--darn if his pictures are accurate, he is extremely attractice--and as been noted before by Okiehomo and myself--the choices in Dallas have really gone downhill since 7+ years ago when there were several porn star and other muscular hunky dudes available--Okie and I go for the same body type. But once we have them, we like to do different things--vive la difference!!!!

It sounds similar to a service that many female escorts use called preferred 411. Allegedly they take the client's info, screen them and then give you an ID code. Apparently the escort can take this client's code and check them out against their database.

 

Never heard of a guy in Dallas using such a system...sounds like he's a bit paranoid.

This Zack guy posted several times in Craigs List in Chicago several times. His ad usually mentions porn star experience. The picture he posted is the sam poste on the website.

 

He did not ring my bells so I never contacted him. An acquaintace tied, but for one reason or the other...this acquaintance did not pursue the date with him. I now think it is that website Modus operandi of checking you out that scared him away!
