I'm thinking the "Only Way" to have an "Undie Collection" is to make sure the Guy you just hooked up with..Leaves them behind on his way out! LOL

 

Memory sure Beats the Hell out of Fantasy when it comes to Undies! ;-)

At one time, men's underwear consisted of two separate very tight leg coverings with no covering for the genitals; The middle part, called a codpiece, was later added.

 

Eventually all three pieces were combined into a single garment.

I think both the back side and front side were open (though attached with strings at the top to a long doublet which covered everything.

 

So there was no need to take your underwear down to relieve or entertain yourself. :)

 

The one-piece trousers became popular during the end of the 18th century.
