JC, you tell us about Tony. He barebacks. You disapprove of bareback sex. You want laws making all bareback sex illegal. You want to punish everyone who barebacks.

 

Think further about these laws you suggest. They are flawed. If everyone was forced to use condoms during sex, this planet would lie barren and completely desolate come next century. Obviously, heterosexuals must have sex without condoms to perpetuate the human race.

 

But what about the heterosexuals that are HIV positive? Certainly, your strict laws would punish them if they fucked without condoms. So, how would you identify the HIV-positive heterosexuals from the negative heterosexuals? With mandatory HIV tests? How would you publicize these results?

 

Your laws are puritanical. Your laws only work if you identify those with HIV/AIDS. (How about a scarlet A on each forehead?) Your laws only work if you identify pure heterosexuals from all others. And furthermore, your laws will only be successful if you insure the privileged, HIV-negative heterosexuals never have condomless sex with any other types of people. Nothing short of quarantining would be effective.

 

Thankfully, in this era, we aren't governed by laws that segregate and blame. We must work together to fight HIV/AIDS. I'm also thankful we adults haven't lost freedom to choose how we have sex with each other. Privately, consensually, without government forcing its way in our bedrooms.

 

All that said JC, I truly am sorry you've lost so many people to AIDS.

Thinking with emotions, my laws are a damn good idea. Thinking with logic, they are wrong. How can we make BB's understand what they are doing? I saw a movie a few years back that followed a dollar bill around town. It showed how each person’s life was affected by that dollar. A film about two guys barebacking that would follow the lives of everyone affected by their actions would be a wake up call for them. It's not just the two of them, it's everyone that has sex with them after that, then everyone who has sex with those people, and on and on. Perhaps a visit from the 3 ghosts of AIDS would wake them up. Past, present and future. The only I know for sure is how sad it makes to see such beautiful young people do such risky things.

 

This topic is too sad for me, I've put in my time and preached to the masses. I've have no compassion left. It's not my fight anymore. The happier things in life are what concern me now. My friends, my cats, my diecast car collection and my escort adventures make me happy. No more on this topic for me!

JC, is this really how you think? Wow, then you really do believe the best plan to protect ourselves from HIV/AIDS is to quarantine "them."
