i'm in the market for website hosting providers again. i've had email problems for just over two weeks now. and my site itself has been down for a while as well.

Best of luck, Ethan. I suspect HooBoy would agree with me that finding a good hosting company can be hard. But finding a BAD hosting company can create a personal Hell.

At work, our ISP and website host is Earthlink. We've had no problems with them, and service has been reliable. We've never had any e-mail problems, either. I don't know their policies as to adult-related sites, which certainly could be an issue, but it might be worthwhile to check them out.
