I'm just wondering what experiences different posters have had with escorts or clients and STDs. I'd be interested in hearing from either clients or escorts - not necessarily who gave who what or anything but just how common getting STDs from escorts or clients might be.

I have spent time with many escorts and have never contracted an STD. I remember I first worried on hiring my first escort but after thought realized that the guy was a professional, did this for a living and therefore must keep himself clean. It's worked so far.

I have also seen many escorts over many years and have not contracted any STDs. I think there is always a risk, however, and from time to time I worry that my luck might run out. However, I play safe so that does help diminish the possibility. I think most escorts are concerned with their own health, as well and are vigilant about makin sure they haven't contracted anything. I know one who told me he had few worries about getting somthing from a client because so many of his clients were married.

IMHO.. Being "Married" has absolutely Nothing to do with who gets and doesn't get STD'S!..Hate to "Break the New's".. BUT alot of Married Guys Sleep around alot..LOL The Valtrex Commercial, which is Aimed at Young Single Sexually Active People, doesn't mention that these are the People who might just eventually get Married.. and still be dealing with their unfortunate STD.. :+

Escorts know they are at risk, and most of them are careful. I have been with many and have never gotten an STD, but I did get a case of the crabs from a young guy from the Czech Republic escorting in LA. He probably did not know how easy it is to shampoo them away.

Of course, I didn't mean to imply that being married was a barrier to anything, disease wise or otherwise. I'm not naive, and I know that disease has no discretion based on anything. However, I do think that he might have been saying that some of his married clients were, perhaps, but not necessarily, having fewer sexual contacts with other partners, which, in itself, might reduce the risk of them getting STDs based solely on an odds game. Maybe I was totally off-base. I've nothing invested in this, but I just wanted to say clarify.

uwsider..Totally Agree. Unfortunately some of the Social Disease Viruses, never really leave the Body. I am sure we all do the best we can in "Preventing" any spread of anything. Sadly there are those among us who, if the symptoms are not obvious at the Time, feel there is less risk for anyone they Hangout with. :+

I just remember when Devon from Devon's Diary that used to be on this site talked about getting the clap, he said his business fell off significantly and STDs don't seem like they are discussed much on this site. I was just trying to figure out if they are not as prevalent as I thought they would be or if they're just not discussed.

dfw. I also am in the Never picked up an STD from a "Workin Guy" Category..(Thank the Gods) Of course when you say "Clap" which Compared to some STD'S, is like the "Common Cold", was along with "Scabbies" the STD'S of the 70's and Early 80's..No Biggies easily Treated, Many MD'S did very well in the "Cash and Carry".. "Antibiotic Business" at that time! One MD I knew Retired to Mexico, to Live like a "Queen"! LOL Sadly things have changed, STD'S have Worsened in their Severity.. You have to continually Check your Body and Be Observant of your Partners Body..Something "looks Strange" ASK? :+

I think I've probably had sex with 400 guys of which 100 were escorts. I've never had an STD unless you count mononucleosis when I was 19.
