Just a heads up men: I've been receiving a number of deceiving & bogus email requests wherein the "client" explains that he is a businessman planning a visit and would like to pay for multiple overnight sessions in advance. He is non-specific about what he is seeking (non-specific of dates & desires) except to insist pre-payment, and with that, asks for personal information in order to fulfill the payment. With all of these requests (5 to date), the email trail runs cold when I direct him to pay via paypal or emphasize that cash payment in person is preferred.

The requests look legit on the surface, and in a few cases, contain attached self-photos (most likely bogus as well). They have come from Australia, the UK, Canada and the US.

On the other hand, clients do need to request personal information in order to set up air travel (especially international); in such cases, I usually ask for partial payment upfront (paypal) especially for someone I never met, and airport pick-up E-tickets.

A word to the wise ...
