Dumb question- licensing escorts in Atlanta?

I'm planning to visit Atlanta over Memorial Day weekend, and I just heard something about escorts (or adult entertainers) needing to be licensed in Georgia, or perhaps in Atlanta specifically. I'm not sure my source knew what he was talking about, but he said that the police will cruise the escorting sites, book an appointment, and if they find you're working without an 'adult entertainer' license (conveniently available from the local police department for $500) they'll arrest you on the spot. Again, I'm just repeating hearsay.

 

Anybody have any light to shed?

Kevin, I believe what you were told is specifically about bars and clubs that have dancers or show porno as part of their ombience. There was a bar closed there about three months ago (cant remember the name) for showing porn and their adult license had expired, they were shut down for about two hours while the owner coughed up his fee and they reopened later that same night.....However, to play it safe, why dont we meat to discuss this further....
