I doubt very much his ad is legit. I emailed him, he wrote back, I answered his questions, and have not heard back after several attempts. If it's the same guy, his people skills have gone to shit!!

I think it's bogus. Somebody used stolen pics and is probably bowled over at the response.

 

I do know Joshie used to monitor message traffic here because he wrote to me several times thanking me for standing up for him.

Having said that, hooking up with him was always a bit iffy. When he showed up he was WAY worth the effort, but he was unpredictable at best.

The guy in the pics is Joshua from Chicago. I brought him to NYC a couple of years ago. Very hot. He then dropped out of sight. Don't know if the current ad from Detroit is the same person or not. In any event, the pics are probably several years old by now.

Anybody have any theories on what the thrill would be to post an escort ad and then not respond to anyone (as far as we know). I am kind of new to this so I was just curious.

Well, it could be that some newbie escort didn't have pics of his own so he found some on the net that sorta look like him and used them instead. Imagine HIS surprise when he discovered he'd used pics of a once well-known and very much well-loved escort.

 

Or it could be that some guy is getting his jollies over all the drooling. Personally, I don't get the thrill of water sports either, but it takes all kinds. <shrug>

I've exchanged two e-mails with him; the vocabulary and phrasing are the same as the Joshua Daulton that I saw a few times in Chicago. As Deej said earlier, whether he would appear was always questionable, but when he did appear, he was spectacular. Detroit is an easy drive for me; I'm going to attempt to arrange something within the next two or three weeks. I will, of course, post the results here.
