Your silence since your encounter could be a good thing. You could be luxuriating in a long pleasant afterglow from a meeting that was all you dreamed about and more.

 

However, your silence could be a bad thing. Obviously, if you're reading this, you've seen the explosion that took place on your original thread after your departure. Since I contributed to and prolonged that hijacking, I'll be one to encourage you to speak up again. Don't be intimidated by what went on there, or feel that it had much if anything to do with you personally. Don't feel obligated to come up with a response to any of that overly complex flaming.

 

Just let us know what happened. Some of us are genuinely interested. (And there are plenty of other legitimate explanations, so if this speculation is off-base, feel free to ignore it.)
