BabyXeroPictures Signs Gay Adult Entertainers to Participate in New Reality Contest and Documentary

 

DALLAS, TX – September 29, 2003 – BabyXeroPictures™ has signed three gay adult entertainers to star in a new reality contest and documentary entitled Sex, Lives & Videotape. The film will follow three ordinary gay men who are chosen by judges through an online contest to live out their fantasy of being with a porn star---on tape.

 

The adult entertainers participating in Sex, Lives and Videotape are Chicago-based Bret Wolfe (LA Sex Party, Road Trip, First Crush), who was awarded 2003 Newcomer of the Year Award by both the Grabby Erotic Gay Video Awards and the 2003 GayVN Awards; Orlando-based actor/model Michael Vincenzo (Crew, Heat, Three Easy Pieces); and New York-based Venezuelan performer Miguel Leonn (Bone Island, Thick as Thieves).

 

Sex, Lives & Videotape, or SLV, will be directed by filmmaker and BabyXeroPictures founder, Steven Pomerantz. “I want SLV to be sexy, funny and entertaining, but my real focus with this and all of my films is to surprise and reveal something new to the audience. We are putting sexual fantasy and reality on a collision course and no one is quite sure what the results will be yet. I have no doubt the titillation factor will be what draws in many filmgoers, but I intend to deliver an experience that resonates emotionally as well for viewers,” says Pomerantz.

 

Exposing the humanity behind sensational issues in the gay community is nothing new for Pomerantz. The thirty-something filmmaker’s previous documentaries include Skin Deep: Stories of Ethnic Diversity in the Gay Community and Open, an exploration of gay male couples in committed, but non-monogamous relationships. Pomerantz’s films have been official selections in festivals all over the world, including the London Gay & Lesbian Film Festival, Milan Gay & Lesbian Film Festival, South Africa Gay & Lesbian Film Festival, Austin Gay & Lesbian Film Festival and Australia’s Queer-Doc Film Festival.

 

“SLV is a real departure from my other films in terms of the contest aspect, but the film remains true to my mission in its attempt to expose the emotional reality behind sexual fantasy,” Pomerantz adds.
