Now where is my fellow cynic Lucky???? Darn it, if I didn't know better, a cynic might just think that this was schill to only hire escorts reviewed here on this site.

 

But why is it that a negative review by a first time reviewer is taken as the Gospel truth, but a glowing review is derided with skepticism?

 

This review, is one, which since it had no pics and the reviewer was someone new, I didn't bother to read until you opened this thread. But after reading it, my take on it is that it was the result of someone's wild imagination and a total crock of bs.

Now this alone is bogus. Not that young men don't hire escorts, but when I read this trite, often used phrase, my first reaction is that the reviewer is neither young nor handsome. Another clue is that he says he is 31 and that the escort is in his 30's and yet he uses a description that calls the escort a "young man". Only someone much older would use that term to describe someone in his 30's.

 

"He barred the door and as I tried to get past him, proceeded to push me back into the apt. This happened several times, we ended up at the door where he dead bolted the door and said, "You are not leaving until I have my money." His pushed me then it became punches, (I have the bruise to prove it) and at this point, I wasn’t going to pay him strictly on principal. Luckily, I am much bigger than he, and in an act of desperation, I rushed for the door and was able to escape. It is also important to say that during the altercation, he removed the dog door from the kitchen and said to his dog, "get him boy, get him"

 

LOL! How bogus is this? The door is bolted, he is shoved repeatedly and punched, but damn it he is going to fight to the death rather than pay and go on his way??? I suppose, he used the time it took to remove the doggie door to make his mad dash to freedom? Thank God this poor dude was faster at opening the dead bolts than the vicious "pit bull type" dog was at dashing across the room and locking the jaws of death on his leg!

 

Poor delusional dude, having to BEG HB to post his review as a warning to all clients. I am so glad, that such bogus bs reviewers are "so concerned" about clients who might want to hire this escort.

 

I'll be interested to see if the escort posts a reply.

I first timer negative review has no more validity than a first timer

positive review. But, the review is posted and many people do not visit the message center only read reviews. You guys, who have had positive experiences with Ruben, should post reviews. It would also

help if Ruben supplies a picture. A response from Ruben would also help, but that may not be easy if any of the reviewers facts are

even slightly correct (for example, if reviewer really did spent time with the escort and decided to end the call early).

When I hooked up with Ruben, he didn't want a review. He wanted to keep everything low key--he wasn't even using the name Ruben, just Uncut King. That's why I didn't review him.

Well, I agree with everything you say except the following could have more than one spin:

This could be taken to the extreme. I don't think you yourself are saying this, but what if you hire an escort for a session, he comes over and you 1. you get off and thus lose interest after 20 minutes 2. you're on an overnighter and for some reason you have to cut it off (health, family business, whatever). 3. The escort shows up as scheduled and for some reason not due to the escort's actions you decide that you are not interested in continuing.

 

In these situations and probably others, imo, the client owes the escort the entire agreed on fees for the type of session booked. After all, in these cases it is the client, not the escort, who is calling off the rest of the deal, so why should the escort have to "bear the cost" for the client's cancellation of the rest of the session.

 

I have a feeling that this review, if indeed legit, may have been one of the situations cited above. Why? Just look at his statement about showing up early and perching outside the escort's pad and his remarks about his take on the escort's attitude while watching the escort approach and thus how he really didn't find the escort that "attractive". IMO, this client went in with a pissy attitude and is kind of on the "stalker side". And if he felt the way he did after seeing the escort approach, then he could have just walked away, as the escort would not have known him from Adam.

 

For the client in this scenario, to pull out $80 and tell the escort "that's it" would definitely be enough to justify such a reaction from the escort. I wonder who really started shoving who first and who really was the one most in danger. I feel that if the truth was to come out, that it was the escort who was in fear of his life and in his own home no less and not the psychopathic fuck that he had the misfortune to have encountered as a client.

Yes and no :+ The first time negative review makes it much less probable that it came from the escort himself or close friend drumming up business, as could be the case with a first time positive review.

 

The first time negative review however could be a threatened competitor or someone with a vendetta unrelated to the reviewed meeting. I think the latter is easier to detect, since anger and jeolousy often comes through more in writing, since many clients go overboard (gush:) ) in reviewing their favorite escorts :+

Ruben's response was different that I expected. Both explanations may

be correct as truly viewed by the person. Ruben deserves credit for giving a response that does not make the client look like a complete idiot, so I tend to believe his version.

Having read both the client's negative review, and Ruben's response, plus the testimony of several posters here - I think based on the limited information and not having met Ruben myself - I'd have to go with Ruben's version over the client's.

 

It's all hearsay, but with nothing else to go on, that would be my take on it. Regarding false reviews, by Ruben's own response, I think we can remove that element as a possibility. The meeting did take place, it's just a matter of whose version is more accurate. Seems the client did engage in substantial exaggeration after reading both accounts.
