Does San Francisco have a "Numbers?"

Is there a "Numbers"-type bar in San Francisco -- i.e., where younger entrepreneurs connect with older investors? As in Los Angeles, it could be helpful that "what you see is what you get." Thanks.

The short answer is 'no'. But you may poke your head into The Giraffe Bar on Polk Street. Very poor pickings amongst the disease and drug ravaged runaways! Time and $ spent at the Nob Hill Theatre is a better choice.

The Giraffe is now a straight bar; so don't bother. Reflections, across the street has some street hustlers who hang out there as does Club Rendezvous; but the quality is no where near that of Numbers in LA.
