Ricco's - Boston - for real?

A few weeks ago an ad showed up in the Boston weekly gay paper INewsweekly for "Ricco's Real Men." It hasn't been in the last few issues.

 

They also have an ad on Rentboy: "Large Variety of top of the line men to suit your needs. In calls and out calls. Escort, massage, domination/fetishes, and companionship. Open 7 days a week from 10am to 4am. 617-438-5844 or 617-438-1879."

 

There have been agencies like this before in Boston, but most of them haven't lasted. This ad showed up right at the same time as a Boston-area police sting against female escorts, and something about the ad makes me suspicious.

 

On the other hand, if it's a real escort agency, it would be good news.

 

Has anyone used them, or does anyone know any more about them?

Something very similar happened with an ad in InNewsweekly a couple of weeks ago. His name was Greg and he looked good and the ad stated "Playgirl Dec. 2001". I called and left message but never received a reply. The ad has not appeared since. Very strange.

Yeah, I've noticed a number of these ads that run only a single time and then never again. The escort scene in Boston has really declined in recent years, around the same time that the Combat Zone disappeared.

 

If anybody knows anything about Ricco's, please post!

I first saw the Ricco's ad on Rentboy. I've used them a couple of times and had excellent experiences. Jaymes was great! 5'10", spiky blonde hair, just enough attitude and arrogance to make him lots of fun. He even showed how ballsey he was by jumping into my pool fully clothed when I dared him to do it. The owner of the company has been very cooperative in finding men I like.
