I guess I'm way behind the times, but I thought prostitution was legal in the State of Nevada. What's up with the sting in Las Vegas?

Prostitution is legal only in a couple of Nevada counties -- and they don't include Clark County where Las Vegas is located.

 

Further, where it is legal, I believe it's restricted to brothels for straight men.

Prostitution has NEVER been legal in all of Nevada. It is only legal in some areas and ONLY within a state-licensed whore house. In addition, male prostitution has NEVER been legal.
