Can it be true? The one escort who set the standard for all other escorts has now retired from the business. Yes, Aaron has taken a sabbatical from escorting.

 

Aaron Lawrence was the guy who got me to begin my own escorting and video career. He has written two books, spoken at numerous conventions, and has been in as well as directed almost 20 films.

 

Aaron began his escorting six years ago and has garnered numerous awards in the process. He was voted Escort of the Year in 1999, twice nominated for the Men in Video Award for Best Website, and voted Best Bottom and Best Versatile Escort for the year 2001 for the Joey and Carlo Male Escort Awards.

 

Not only is Aaron one of my best friends, but also an inspiration for all of us, both escorts and clients alike. His website was the basis of all of my own websites, his demeanor with clients as the prime example of what an escort ought to be like, and his upbeat attitude as a means of conveying the principle notion that our jobs as escorts is to be the courteous and sensual with every client.

Just to play devil's advocate here, I was wondering if the primary reason Aaron is retiring is because he's gotten a little long in the tooth to pull off the twink thing any longer and the closer he gets to 30 (or maybe he's passed it), there are fewer and fewer guys who want a short skinny 30 year old.

Well, Aaron's reasons for retiring are private and I will keep them that way, however I will say this. There are a great number of escorts in their 30s who are also porn stars. I would venture a guess that most of the escorts on this website are over age 29. Aaron's got a big dick, and if he wanted to escort till age 40, he probably could pull it off.

I agree with all of the well deserved words of praise given to Aaron

Lawrence. I met Aaron at a book signing and liked him a lot as a person, but he is not my type so never hired him as an escort. At times, Aaron's special gift for self promotion go to be annoying. On his website, Aaron mentioned that his rate of $350 an hour may seem high, but you have to pay for true quality. Aaron also billed himself

as the best escort in the NY/NJ/Philadelphia area. True? I am not so sure. It would be interesting to hear from some of his clients. It's notable that all the praise has come from other escorts and HooBoy, not clients. He did revolutionize the public relation aspects of escorting and that will be what he is remembered for in the years ahead.

I met with Aaron twice -- way back in 1997 and long before I discovered this site and long before Aaron became so famous.

 

I still remember him fondly as a wonderful person and a very attentive bed partner. I wish him all the best of luck in his future endeavors.

 

As for his future "hireability," I think he looks hotter now than he did back then. I am sure that's not the reason why he's retiring.

I, too first hired Aaron in late 1997 and saw him on at

least 10 occasions during 1998 / 1999, including two short

weekend trips.

 

He is certainly one of the best escorts I have ever hired.

 

While some people undoubtedly do find his "gift for self

I never got what the big deal was about Aaron Lawrence. He's probably a great guy, his website is superbly put together, nothing against him personally... but he's not really the hottest guy out there by any means, twinks/hunks/any types, really. He's kind of scrawny-looking and not with the most handsome of features. But obviously he strikes a chord somehow, which may be a testimony to how great a marketer he is?
