Excuse me for venting but I'm just so fed up with escorts who don't even have the common courtesy to respond to inquiries. I know this has been covered a number of times before, but one more time can't hurt. I have been very lucky in meeting a number of great escorts who are warm and decent human beings. There are several that I see on a regular basis and we treat each other with affection and mutual respect. But I've lost track of the number of escorts who never had the decency to call back and say they couldn't make it or weren't interested, or whatever. The latest case in point is Michael Johnson who last Sunday posted in escort travels that he was going to be in San Francisco this week. He has long been on the top of my list of escorts I wanted to meet and I sent him an e-mail telling him all of the things I was interested in (which according to his reviews were pretty compatible with what he did) and asked him to contact me about setting up an appointment. Just to be on the safe side I called him and left a message telling him that I had just sent an e-mail and left him my telephone no. No response. The next day I left another telephone message asking him to please respond. Nada.

Now I know all of the excuses that have been put forth previously about why escorts may not respond, but being on vacation or not being able to check his e-mail just don't wash in this case. If you post a notice that you're going to be in a certain city it pretty well indicates that you're looking for business and you would be checking both e-mails and calls frequently.

We often read here how important it is for clients to treat escorts with respect, but the reverse is just as important. This is simply a case of Michael Johnson being rude and completely unprofessional. If he can't take a few seconds to respond to an e-mail then he should probably find another profession or try going to a sensitivity seminar.
