Richard in Vegas (3/29/02) - Do we now review phone contacts?

I was reading his review and found it odd that this whole review was just based on phone contacts...the reviewer was not even with Richard. I have never noticed this before...is this OK to do now?

 

Just found it strange - have I missed others?

I know Richard, so I know that everything about the review is absolutely true. But you are right... I am not sure how anyone can answer questions about cock size, eye color, and whether he matched physical description without actually being with the person. Some of the very worst escorts must be wonderful on the phone, because in spite of countless negative reviews hear, they keep getting hired! LOL

 

As for Richard... I have been with him... several times. And he is for real!

Ok I am going to scream it this time as it doesn't seem to be sinking in HOOBOY IS BURNT OUT. THE LAST MONTH THERE HAVE BEEN MORE FAKE, BS, ABSURD "REVIEWS" THAN I HAVE SEEN IN THE HISTORY OF THIS SITE. HE HAS STOPPED CHECKING, EVEN A SMALL SAMPLE. OTHERWISE, HOW WOULD THESE REVIEWS EVEN GET UPLOADED. AND IF HE IS NOT BURNT OUT THEN HE JUST DOESN'T CARE ANYMORE. THE SITE IS ON AUTO PILOT. THERE I SCREAMED IT. And whatever the case it sure is creatinga validity question in the review section. To the point where they appear to be other people's fantasy who are too lazy to sign on to the message center to communicate. Naturally there are a few legit reviews yet they are the minority these days.

 

Also, Hooboy did ask this group if they wanted him to post everything. I was belittled for my suggestions that he doesn't and ways to ensure more valid reviews. If you didn't speak up then or were in the majority to post everything you got what you asked for.

I would do some due dilligence when reading the reviews for vegas. There has been some funny things going on. Unfortunately, some of it done to exploit the new escorts and some of it has been done by the escorts themselves.

 

The latest scam in vegas is an escort that is sleeping with young guys and then pimping them out. I believe his most recent victim just turned 18. I am really against this practice because it can result in some serious psychological issues if the guy is not mentally prepared for escort work.

 

Unfortunately, booking some of the more reputable escorts in vegas can be somewhat difficult. The best advice is to plan ahead and use caution.

I must agree with you on reviewing escorts solely on the bases of a phone conversation. I think at this time the reviews should be based on the actual meeting of the escort. Now, if someone felt strongly about saying something good or bad regarding a phone conversation, then he or she should post it on the message board.

I agree in part with your statement....I feel as a client we should be diligence in reading reviews posted here or any place. It is our responsibility as a consumer to do our research before picking an escort. But, lets not limit this to Vegas...other cities also.

 

Regarding your statement on "latest escort scam"

WOW, that is some powerful words. But, you are right. I know of a former escort that is still trying to live in the past. He thinks he still attractive and others would want him. But he is very alone. Like you mention this guy pimps out other escorts. His biggest scam is to get them when they are new to the area and offer to do a website page for them. Promises that with his help make lots of money. Then when the escort thinks they are friends, he tried to get them to do things....I have heard stories from all over....one story is that he took advantage of an escort when things were very bad emotionally...some would say he raped the guy. Another story that I heard was that when this former escort wanted sexual favors from the young guy, he threaten to destroy him in the escort/client community if he failed to do this. I know of an escort that had to move out of town and change his name and all, just to get away from this former escort.

So, Matt you are right in one way...this is a scam...but more of a scam on the escorts....and its not NEW at all...this guy has been doing it for years now. I feel for the escorts, they are in away the victims of this man who is VERY Alone in life.

Matt, I usually do not agree with you but as we saw during the Escort of the Year voting to the vast amount of bogus reviews by and of LV escorts I have to give you credit for posting this information. And the escort you speak of is well known to many of us clients. Clients tend to communicate via email and telephone contact more than I think escorts are aware.
