Anyone trying to escape a timeshare on here?

OP note: considering most of us are gay men, I hope none was dumb enough to "buy" a timeshare but we all have made mistakes. You think contacting your "resort" directly for an exit would make sense instead for paying a 3rd party "exit-company" but it's not that easy.

Sharing a permanent vacation property never appealed to me, so I never learned much about it.  

With so many commercials offering help to exit a timeshare, one might take that as a red flag about buying one.  I feel for the woman in the news story above!  And yes, I doubt I'd buy something that significant in Vegas.

A former college housemate and his wife bought a timeshare in PS.  He was still in the closet at the time.  They travel all the time, and PS made sense to him, I guess.  😆 

 

I drove over there to visit them once. 

I wonder if the timeshare is one reason they are still married.  But that's a whole other thread!
