MassageCommunityMember Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago The other day I had an image of empty storefronts in my neighborhood, and I realized I need to recommit to my effort to shop hyper-local. If it's a product or service I can get in my neighborhood (and the quality is good), I should absolutely support that. It's selfish in a way. Empty storefronts affect property values. Sure, I won't single-handedly keep anything open, but I'm doing my part. Also, I'll save on gas. Do you try to shop local? Do you think it really matters?
