I am going to NYC over Prez's weekend and have been e-mailing many escorts about schedule, availabilty, rates, etc....I have two confirmed appointments and one of those feels shakey. I have e-mailed many escorts over a week ago and have still not recieved an answer. I realize some may be traveling or out of town...but I have e-mailed almost 10 guys about that weekend. I have Jason Polkinen lined up (he answered promptly and graciously - can't wait to meet him)...but others just haven't bothered. And Adam+Steve off rentboy.com have sent me short e-mails wihtout addressing some of my questions....

I even noticed that Axiom posted in another thread about sending Rex Brandt an e-mail and never getting an answer. Some of the guys I have tried to contact have gotten GLOWING reviews on this site. Should I take this as a red flag? Or try another e-mail? A couple e-mails have come back as undeliverable...so I know the others went through....I just don't get this behavior...how long does it take to say...."sorry...busy that weekend".

Should I e-mail these guys again - or does that come off as pushy and "weird?"

Some of the escorts can prob answer this better, but my experience, and based on what's been posted here, is that a lot of guys just don't keep up with emails that closely, or that they get so much spam, it's hard to filter. if there's a phone number, i have always had better luck, though some don't return long distance calls as a matter of policy. shot-gun it, or else you'll be on the other thread about booty calls and be pissed off cuz u couldn't schedule. :)

There's another consideration, too.

Prez' Day weekend there's a big Circuit party in Chicago called FireBall. I know many guys have e-mailed me saying they'll be here.

You may have picked guys who hope/wanna/plan to be doing the Circuit boy thing that weekend but they don't know yet. A lot of them don't know until the last minute whether they'll make the trip until they hear from clients.

Or they might just not check e-mail very often.

It could go either way.

Due to the large volume of Spam mail I receive on a daily basis it becomes difficult to filter through it and on occasion, I may mistakenly delete a client's email. ( I apologize if this happened to you) Usually if "ESCORT BOOKING" on the subject line that will help it stand out from the unsolicited mail, however for this reason, I publish my phone number on my website.

Thaks for responding, Rex...though I personally did not send you an e-mail...it was a guy named Axiom...I hope he reads this and sees your comments.
