+ 7829V Posted June 15 Posted June 15 So I’m thinking about buying my own massage table that is sturdy and comfortable, so I don’t have any surprises with whatever table my massage therapist brings. Do you have any recommendations? I saw him again recently, and he had a brand-new table (same model/brand). I did hear a few cracking noises… it didn’t break, so it might have just been my imagination after the recent events 😂 LOL. The one I currently have, I bought many years ago on Amazon, so it’s probably time for an upgrade. I’m thinking something a little wider and more comfortable.
1sight Posted June 16 Posted June 16 I can relate. It would be great to have a comfortable foldable table at home, especially for a NYC apartment.
Rod Hagen Posted June 17 Posted June 17 I've had two Earthlite Spirits and both were fantastic and lasted more than 10 years of very hard use. I guess you could buy this awful color since it will be under a sheet, but both of mine were a nice sharp green. https://www.amazon.com/EARTHLITE-Premium-Portable-Massage-Package/dp/B075XQ1TB4 1sight 1
Rod Hagen Posted June 18 Posted June 18 Oh, and Massage tables do creak, it's nothing to worry about. Reminds me of a friend I used to climb with. When she was starting out she reached the top of a climb, rang the bell as we say, called down "ready to lower" and when she leaned back her harness made a ripping sound and she started screaming. Whoever was belaying her lowered her down very quickly and on the ground she searched the harness frantically for the tear. It wasn't a tear, it was just some of the velcro which is only there for comfort not safety. But when you hear your harness make a sound that's Like a Tear, you scream. So, your massage table will creak, that doesn't mean it's broken. + Just Sayin 1
+ WstVlgChris Posted June 18 Posted June 18 I have a 30-inch-wide Inner Strength table, and the masseurs who come to my apartment all compliment it. 1sight, + Just Sayin and Rod Hagen 3
