It makes sense if so, otherwise I would think side clients would otherwise be easier for providers, though I suppose the expectation would be a lower rate.

I met Vincent today. He definitely stands out physically as a twink among the twinks in Vegas. He knows what his reputation and market is and he's firm with his starting rate. He is a candid guy and we had quite a long coherent, mature conversation about him, his business ventures and our lives. He enjoys meeting new people outside of the industry because we are "different" than the industry circles. Plus, he enjoys sex. 

He does ask for a deposit if he doesn't get the right vibe at the first messages - too many flakes and time wasters. (In fact he did for me) But my follow-up conversations convinced him I'd be a man of my word and follow up to execution of the meeting. Plus, as he strives to remain a public media figure, he agreed his reputation is at stake and he would not abscond with a guy's deposit. 

I'd recommend him to anyone visiting Vegas who doesn't mind his niche. I did not get immature physical or mental vibes from him. I would rehire down the road to catch up if he'd see me.
