Ive been looking for someone who is proficient in Thai massage. I wonder if anyone here has met him and can speak to his skills. I hate being the guineapig...but it wouldn't be my only time being the first to take the plunge.

I had a massage with Than and was underwhelmed, sadly. He's a sweet guy, and has a beautiful spa-like set-up in his studio apartment, but he is untrained and his massage is unfocused and boring and not sensual. I did leave happy, which was nice. 

You could get the same experience from an inexperienced/beginner masseur in any of the men's spas around the city, although Than's set-up is infinitely nicer. 

Be warned: he has a very well-behaved cat, in case you're allergic.

Disappointing. I did get the sense that he’s not trained during my correspondence with him.  Does he look anything like his pictures? Was MT allowed, or do you suppose he’s just a straight guy?

Appreciate this and will definitely temper my expectations. I’m actually already scheduled to see him today so I’ll give it a shot and report back

He looks like his pics and he's definitely open to MT. I don't think this is a gay4pay situation.

Just leaving now and the other review captured it perfectly. It was an immaculate space in a luxury building. He was very polite and welcoming. His English was a little bit limited but not in a terrible way and yes I cannot speak highly enough about how clean and fresh the space was. I would even go as far as to say he looked a little bit better than the pictures. 

 

The massage itself was, I would say, medium. It was okay. It was not terrible but unfortunately there were a few moments where I had hopes that there might be the slightest sensual element. It was literally zero or at the very least it was teasing towards sensual without ever actually going there so I unfortunately will not be going back.

 

Also a friendly heads up if anybody's ever driving there: it is a bitch to find parking in that particular area because of all the construction right now so give yourself a bunch of time

That’s a lot of effort on your end - totally hear the disappointment. Was there much physical interaction? Did you at least leave happy?
