TonyDown Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago I have a scan of a family photo, sent to me by a distant relative, asking if possible to correct some flaws. The original photo was slightly blurred, possibly from age. There is also a spot where the photo was rubbed. The photo has sentimental value so I want to try. Here is my question. Has anyone had success digitally correcting images? Any recommended applications? The first one I found was an on line service, but after some due diligence they sounded a bit sketchy. My search also returned Adobe Photoshop and another called Canva. I have not investigated these yet.
+ JamesB Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago If your goal is simply to fix an image like in your example, almost any AI tool can handle that for you, so there’s no real need to learn Photoshop or similar software. You might want to try Gemini with Nano Banana or Grok’s Imagine feature. TonyDown 1
