Amazing that he was forthcoming with the truth. We live in a time when truth no longer matters, especially to the desperate. People say whatever they want, if it gets them what they want. Shame is gone, along with accountability. I mean, to say you've been doing Thai massage for eight years, when you're lying, and probably charging a significant rate...what kind of person is that?

Sorry to interrupt your rant.  Please consider that English isn’t his first language before you default to “he is a lying, bad person”. Looking at his profile, he is likely saying that he provides a massage  that includes components of thai, swedish etc.  Which is exactly what you would expect from an enthusiastic amateur.

Thai massage is a very specific modality. Either you're trained or you're not. People can fake a Swedish massage but you can injure someone by faking Thai massage.

So aren’t you glad that when you asked a clarifying question, he gave you a direct answer?  If he only claimed Thai massage in his profile, I would agree with you. But he doesnt.  Please read his profile again and keep my previous comments in mind.

Yes.

But that doesnt really affect my concern that you shouldn't be advertising proficiency in professional sports massage techniques if you have no idea what youre doing. I saw your comment but there IS NO "thai-inspired" massage. You can play that with things like Swedish Lomi-Lomi but Thai requires skill and knowlege.
