Now that the Energy thread is closed, maybe we can try starting threads about specific masseurs at NYC spas. With any luck the owner won't use the thread to advertise. 

I'll start. I saw Alvin last week at Energy for a one hour massage. Average looking asian guy with a nice body. Not talkative. Gives a great strong massage. Wore his baseball cap throughout. 
Although it was my first visit, he was very engaged and exceeded my expectations of relaxation by the end. 
No talk of tips. No talk at all. 
Highly recommend.
