Colton Posted October 17 Posted October 17 I thought I would share that I've been doing freelance work with Mercor related to AI -- basically helping AI models evaluate their results and further develop their capabilities to answer complex questions. I've enjoyed it, and its been a nice additional source of income. If anyone is interested, DM me (before you apply) and I can refer you. Best is if you are a professional, like a lawyer, finance expert, doctor, but they are increasingly posting roles for more generalist testers.
MenLoveAvenue Posted October 17 Posted October 17 Never heard of Mercor. Not sure there is a place there for me, but I'm reviewing their needs to see if I'm a fit. Thanks for posting!

I am conflicted - the reality is that these systems will rob a large number of people (especially young people) of entry level job opportunities, across whole industries. Do I really want to be a part of that? Especially when you consider that there is almost no regulation in this space. Hello human - operate under these rules, if you please. Hello AI - yeah, go right ahead, no rules for you. 🤨
