Really appreciate this thread and the beautiful guys here.  I don't think it's a stretch to say Indian guys (not necessarily Middle Eastern guys) often end up on the bottom of the racial hotness totem pole for many folks. And so happy the thread is not called "I Think I'll Have Chicken Tikka Masala Tonight" 👳‍♀️

This is perhaps the perfect characterisation of how some threads here have titles that simplify or trivialise, or simply make light of the group of people portrayed in them, a version of the group sanitised to make it more relatable to the audience here, probably unintentionally.

Chicken tikka masala is widely considered to have been created in the UK, likely in Glasgow (chicken tikka is an authentic Mughal dish with no sauce). Wiki has a line that 'a1998 survey in Britain found that among 48 recipes, the only common ingredient was chicken'.
