I've tried to meet him a few times over the last year with no luck. The rates he quoted today are the same as people are showing on RentMassur (200-300 for an hour) in their reviews, but he just added 100 for incall when I asked if he hosts. I'm not sure that is worth it given the difficulty trying to set up anything and that's now the same as full escort rates, and he's not offering full service. 

The problem is he seems to have very limited availability and even once it seems that we might meet, he either goes silent or is now adding an additional charge. I'm beginning to think it's not worth it and will probably just give up.

If anyone has any information that he is actually genuine and worth it, it would be nice to hear.

I think you’ve answered your own question. A massage appointment is supposed to be a relaxing, enjoyable experience, not an annoying run around at $300-$400. It’s not like you are going to start dating him. There are hundreds of masseurs in NYC. Time to move on!
