"That's it, I'm done"

It's happened to me five or six times now where a long-time (3+ years in the biz) provider meets up with me and then retires within a month thereafter. It's getting hard not to take personally 😁

This is a question for former providers or on-and-off providers. Have you had any clients, after whose session you think to yourself "I need to get out of this business"? Can you describe the encounters that made up your mind?

I've only had one experience like this and it was due to the client being so unbelievable unhygienic that i walked out very quickly into the session. He got very angry and made a huge scene. However most of my clients are great so I didn't let it get to me. but yes that one client was so gross i almost was like "yeah that's enough."
